Training of resource developers falls into 2 categories:

1. Getting Started. This workshop will bring the developer up to the level where they can develop basic courses using the bare minimum of features within and external to the WebTrain environment. It would be expected that at the completion of the one day workshop, developers would have the majority of their first course online (Content and Assessment).

These one day workshops are priced at $1500 (AU) plus expenses. They would be conducted at your site.

2. Advanced. This workshop will bring the basic developer up to the level where they can use and implement the more advanced features of the WebTrain environment. WebTrain is a programming language for the WWW and therefore has an unlimited amount of custom tags available. When used, they create a very powerful environment.

You will learn how to detect learning difficulties, individualise content for learners, track the effectiveness of your content and assessment, embed variables and mathematical equations and utilise the more advanced WebTrain communication features.

This workshop is normally of 3 days duration and would only be conducted with people who have already well developed skills in the areas of Instructional Design and online resource development. These workshops are priced at $4500 (AU) plus expenses. They would be conducted at your site.
